Valeria Guillen-Sanchez is an independent filmmaker based between Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. Her work spans archival, narrative, animated, music video, and documentary projects. As a film editor and storyteller, Valeria brings a distinct voice to her craft, exploring themes of nostalgia, adolescence, and Mexican-American identity with humor and emotional depth. Her passion for comedic animation and cultural storytelling drives her creative practice. She is currently developing a documentary that examines the nuances of Mexican-American identity through a personal and contemporary lens.
